Ninja Creami Cookies & Cream Protein Ice Cream (PEScience Snickerdoodle Hack)

Q: What's the best protein powder for a Cookies & Cream Ninja Creami pint?
A: PEScience Select Snickerdoodle blends cinnamon-sugar cookie warmth with cocoa cookies for a richer Cookies & Cream than chocolate-on-chocolate. 250 kcal, 35g protein, 5g sugar per pint.

This is the TNF kitchen's go-to Ninja Creami pint when we want a Cookies & Cream that tastes like a cookie store, not a chalky shake. The trick: PEScience Select Snickerdoodle brings cinnamon, brown sugar and a buttery vanilla finish; crushed sugar-free chocolate bark adds the cookie crunch without sandbagging macros. Owner Diana has been testing this combo since the original ChocZero chip lot sold out — current substitute is ChocZero Sugar Free Keto Bark, which crumbles into pieces the same size as crushed Oreos.

We've made this in our Ninja Creami Deluxe at the Montreal shop every Friday since July 2016-era TNF supplement bench days went from "weigh and stir" to "weigh and freeze". Two spin cycles, no extra liquid.

Ingredients (1 pint (2 servings))

Instructions

  1. Whisk protein powder, almond milk, Greek yogurt, egg whites, vanilla and salt in the Ninja Creami pint until fully dissolved with no clumps.
  2. Tap the pint on the counter to release air bubbles, seal with the storage lid, and freeze flat on a level shelf for at least 24 hours.
  3. Place the frozen pint in the Creami outer bowl and run the Lite Ice Cream setting (Deluxe) or Protein Ice Cream (regular).
  4. Re-spin once more on the same setting for a smooth, scoopable texture. If the centre still looks powdery, run a Re-Spin cycle.
  5. Pull the pint, push a hole into the centre with a spoon, fill with crushed sugar-free chocolate bark, then run the Mix-In cycle.
  6. Scoop and serve immediately, or refreeze for up to 1 hour.

Tips From the TNF Kitchen

  • If your Snickerdoodle is tubby with cinnamon, drop the vanilla extract to 1/2 tsp so the cookie note shines.
  • No egg whites? Sub 1/4 cup cottage cheese — adds creaminess and 5g extra protein.
  • ChocZero Sugar Free Keto Bark crumbles cleanest after 10 minutes in the freezer.
  • Always tap the pint to release air bubbles — that's the single biggest texture fix in any Creami recipe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use any protein powder in the Ninja Creami?

Whey-casein blends or pure casein work best. Pure whey-isolate alone gets icy; pure plant proteins get gummy. PEScience Select is a whey-casein blend, which is why it Creamis so well.

Why did my Creami pint come out powdery?

Air bubbles in the unfrozen mix. Tap the pint on the counter for 30 seconds before freezing, and always use the Re-Spin button if the first cycle leaves a dry centre.

Is this Ninja Creami recipe keto-friendly?

It's low-carb (9g per serving) but not strict keto. For keto, swap the Greek yogurt for full-fat coconut yogurt and use only the ChocZero bark — drops carbs to 5g.

How long does Ninja Creami protein ice cream keep?

Best within 24 hours of spinning. After that the texture turns icy and needs another Re-Spin to come back to life.
