USA Barebells vs. European Barebells — what's the difference?
Barebells is a Swedish brand owned by Vitamin Well Group, but its product lines have diverged significantly between the European and US markets:
- European Barebells — original Swedish formulation, slightly higher protein per bar, manufactured for the EU/UK market. Core flavours: Cookies & Cream, Caramel & Cashew, Cookies & Caramel, Birthday Cake, Chocolate Dough, Creamy Crisp.
- USA Barebells — adapted recipe for the US market, slightly softer texture in some flavours, with an entire "SOFT" bar line not available in Europe. USA also has seasonal limited editions (Pumpkin Spice in fall, Peppermint Bark for holidays) that never reach Europe.
Some flavour names overlap, but the bar formulations are not identical. Most fans have a strong preference one way or the other — which is why we carry both lines at TNF.

How fresh is the USA Barebells inventory?
We rotate first-in-first-out. Best-before dates are typically 9–14 months out from receipt. Any short-BB bars are clearly flagged in the variant title with the date and a clearance price.
