How does TRUBAR taste and feel?
Soft, fudgy, dense — not chalky, not dry, not the typical 'healthy bar' compromise. Smoother Fudger PB has genuinely dense fudgy texture with real peanut flavour. Oh Oh Cookie Dough has chocolate chunk-like pieces and a soft dough centre that holds up against whey-based bars. Microwave 10-15 seconds for an even softer, gooier texture. What are the macros and net carbs per bar?
Per 60g bar: 12g plant-based protein (whole grain brown rice + organic pea), 11-13g fibre, sweetened with real cane sugar (no sugar alcohols). Calorie value approximate — see the wrapper label image for exact per-flavour macros. Net Carbs formula: Total Carbs - Fibre - Sugar Alcohols - Allulose (where listed). With 11-13g fibre and real cane sugar (no sugar alcohols to subtract), net carbs are moderate — better suited to active diets than strict keto.
Is TRUBAR vegan, gluten-free, kosher, or allergen-safe?
CERTIFIED Vegan, Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher, Certified Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, No Sugar Alcohols, No Preservatives, No Seed Oils in base. Allergens vary by flavour: Smoother Fudger PB contains peanuts, Daydreaming About Donuts contains almonds, Oh Oh Cookie Dough contains cashews, PB & Jelly contains almonds + peanuts. Halal status not explicitly certified — vegan-certified products are typically halal-compatible. Returns: unopened bars under 30-day default; Onward extends to 90 days with melt coverage.
How fast is shipping in Canada and what does it cost?
Same-day shipping from our Montreal store if you order before 4 PM EST Monday–Friday — hand-packed by our team at our downtown location, often faster than Amazon. Free shipping over $125 CAD subtotal. $12 flat over $50. Delivery: Quebec & Ontario typically 1–3 business days, other provinces 3–7. Express options at checkout. Can I pick up in-store? Where are you and is there parking?
Yes — free store pickup, ready in 30 minutes during store hours. We're at 3575 Av. du Parc, Local 5635 inside Galeries du Parc underground mall, downtown Montreal. Our online inventory is the same as our in-store inventory — if it's in stock on the website, it's also available in-store, since every order ships directly from the same physical store. Tell us at the cash and we'll give you a free 1-hour validated parking voucher — drop it in the parking machine on your way out for free indoor mall parking. Store hours: Mon 11 AM–8 PM, Tue–Fri 11 AM–6 PM, Sat–Sun 11 AM–5 PM.
