We thought you wanted to feed your muscles – not kill your brain? While it is true that shiny, bright colors may make your drink LOOK maybe more appealing, the cold hard truth is that synthetic colors are CHEMICALS and pretty harsh ones at that, it seems. In fact, synthetic colors are tightly regulated by the FDA, and a significant portion of them have been banned over the years due to various health-related concerns. (google it; cancer, ADHD, behavioral problems, and much more).
So, unless you like melting your mind and having every shaker cup you ever owned take on that crazy fake blue (or red, or green, etc.) color, we’d rather not be poisoning your mind and body with these chemicals – which, BTW are likely to be further banned too in the coming years.
